Dr. Kristen Walters
A Chester County, Pennsylvania native, Dr. Walters earned her Bachelor’s of Science in biology education and chemistry from the University of Delaware, and a doctoral degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida where she earned honors for academic and clinical excellence.
After earning her doctoral degree, she completed an internship with nationally known doctors, authors, and lecturers at the Spine and Pain Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Walters has been with Spinal Care since 2008 and in that time has been awarded the “Best of Montco” five times. In addition to her tenure at Spinal Care, she spent two years working with a national rehabilitation group that focused on the rapid recovery of musculo- skeletal injuries. She treated athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA and the US Olympic team.
She has an avid following of athletes from high school to professional athletics, cross-fit and endurance athletics. “I know what it is like to be in pain, and if we can help people get out of pain, then there is no better feeling. Whether it is being able to play football with your kids in the yard or with the Eagles at the Linc, I don’t want pain to stop you.” Her goal is to always put the patient first and to fix musculo- skeletal injuries quickly and permanently.
Dr. Becky Dobson
Dr. Becky Dobson is a dedicated and passionate physical therapist with a strong background in rehabilitation and sports performance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University in 2013 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with dual minors in Nutrition and Psychology. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2017.
For the past eight years, Dr. Dobson has worked extensively with older adults, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence in their daily lives. She finds great fulfillment in guiding her patients back to pain-free movement and meaningful activities while building genuine personal connections.
Dr. Dobson has been an athlete all her life, but her journey into rehabilitation was personal. After sustaining a significant knee injury in college that required multiple surgeries and extensive rehab, she became inspired to help others recover and return to the activities they love. This experience shaped her patient-centered approach, focusing on movement efficiency, injury prevention, and long-term wellness.
A dedicated CrossFit athlete and Level 1 CrossFit Coach, Dr. Dobson enjoys the constantly evolving challenges of the sport and its inclusivity for all ages and skill levels. Since earning her CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2021, she has been coaching athletes to refine their movement patterns, enhance performance, and reduce injury risk using her PT expertise in biomechanics and functional training.
Beyond the gym, Dr. Dobson is also a member of Team USA’s Ball Hockey Team, which proudly took gold at the 2024 World Championships in Switzerland this past summer. Her experience as a competitive athlete gives her a unique understanding of rehabilitation and performance optimization at all levels.
Dr. Dobson was drawn to Spinal Care for its welcoming & patient-first philosophy, stating, “Spinal Care is such a respected & reputable practice, they truly care about each individual patient, striving to get them back to doing what’s important to them as quickly as possible.”
When she’s not treating patients or coaching, Dr. Dobson enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Dave, napping on the couch with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Chewie, Crossfitting, playing hockey, & enjoying good food with good company.
